Frequently Asked Questions

Anyone can schedule an appointment for body composition during operating hours. If you are interested in nutrition counseling, provide your contact information here. We will be in touch to schedule! Please note, we do not accept insurance.

To best answer this, consider scheduling a Quark Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) test and an appointment for nutrition counseling. The RMR test will measure your metabolism and determine how many calories you are burning at rest. From there, the registered dietitian can help with dietary changes to help maintain, lose or gain weight.

To best answer this, consider scheduling a BodPod test. The five-minute test will allow us to assess your current body composition and compare it to others your age.

We have research team members who oversee all services in the laboratory. We also believe in providing our students with experiential learning opportunities. Our body composition services, including BodPod testing and RMR assessment, will be completed by fully trained undergraduate students. Nutrition counseling is done with a registered dietitian and may include student observers.
